Itinerary

01

Today, our guide will pick you from the hotel and take you to Kathmandu airport where you will fly to Lukla airport. Upon your arrival in Lukla village, you will meet your porter who is helping you by carrying heavy luggage. We will have breakfast in Lukla and start walking to Phakding village. Stay overnight in Phakding village.

Today is the 6 hours journey to Namche Bazaar. It is the Sherpa capital and gateway to the Everest region for different treks. We will pass Benker, Monjo and Jorsella village. We will have lunch in Jorsella. We will see Hillary suspension bridges and the first viewpoint of Everest on the way up. Stay in Namchabazar.

Today also we will stay in Namche as a rest day. Instead of staying ideal we will visit a few places to explore such as Everest viewpoint, visitors park, Khumjung village or Khungde hospital. Some people visit Thamo village too. It all depends on you whatever you like.

With a stunning view of Everest, Lhotse Whar, Lhotse, Amadablam and Thamserku, our journey towards Tengboche starts. We will have our lunch on Phungi Tenga before a climbing hill. We will spend some time in Monastery to see lama reading.

Today is one of the easiest hikes of the trek. We will walk 4 hours with a stunning view of Everest and other mountains to reach Dingboche village. We will stay overnight in Dingboche village.

Today is also we will stay in Dingboche village. Instead of staying idea we will walk 3 to 4 hours to visit Chhukung village or climbing the hill near Dingboche which is wonderful for Makalu view and Imja valley.

Today we will walk with seeing the stunning view of Laubecha peak in the front and Amadablam on the backside. We will have lunch in Thukla and spend some time in Thukla pass to see the memorial of those people who died on the Everest expedition. Visit Khumbu glacier on side of Laubecha to see a glacier in the evening.

Today is the main day of your hike. We will start early morning and reached Goreksahp on 3 hours then have some light lunch. We will store our luggage then star to base camp with a light bag. We will reach base camp on 2 hours then spend some time to enjoy the successful trip to base camp. To avoid wind on base camp we will return after spending some time. Stay overnight in Gorakshep.

Early in the morning hike to Kalapther for sunrise and Everest view on close range. We will spend some time there and return back to Gorakshep to have breakfast. After finishing breakfast fly with a helicopter to Lukla. The helicopters take the route of the base camp which is close to Khumbu icefall and fly over Khumbu glacier. Then the helicopter flies back with providing beautiful village and hill view with some stunning mountains. On reaching Lukla we will stay in the lodge and wait for our flight to the next day.

Today we will fly to Kathmandu by plane. You will have plenty of time to do shopping in Thamel. We will have a farewell dinner from the Company together in the evening.

FAQ

Ans: We have not charged for base camp to Kathmandu so, it is not possible to bring Kathmandu on that price.

Ans: Yes you can fly directly to Kathmandu from base camp by paying extra. Actually the price depends on the number of people flying back. It should be Usd 600 to 1000. The cost actually depends on the weather, situation of flights from Lukla to Kathmandu as well as other few things. We have an Everest base camp helicopter tour package where you can check details.

Ans: It will cost USD 3500 for 1 helicopter to fly privately. But while landing on Lukla some local people try to send other people also. This is not in our hands in such cases. You can ask them that you are having it privately so don’t want to take anyone else. Sometime there will be emergency cases so it will be a help if you allow the victims.

Ans: Yes it is possible to bring guide as well as porters but depends on group size. The Helicopter will be able to carry 5 people only. For more people, we need to go again. It will cost you more So it all depends on you.

Ans: Yes we can organize that also. It will definitively cost you more for doing this and you need to pay. Fly as well as spending some time in Gokyo is wonderful options to see another part of the Everest region.
