Staff possess all the experience and knowledge as well as the education required. They are trained in KEEP, NMA, and high altitude sickness. Our field staff are the specialists who trek Everest, Annapurna, and the Langtang regions of Nepal. Our other staff are also well trained. They are educated, and they know what they have to do and how.
Our office staff is quick in replying to emails. They provide all the answers to questions from clients. They respect each and every inquiry. Our field staff includes a trekking leader, guide, assistant guide, and Sherpa, as well as porters. The trekking leader accommodates a large group and speaks an additional language besides English. The guide is the unpaid ambassador of the country.

I was born in the Dhading district, in Fulkharka, where the Himalayan ranges are a few hours’ walk away. I started working as a trekking porter in 2000 and started guiding in 2002. Before being a tourist guide, I worked in the hotel and had done the hotel management training.
I used to be the hike leader for the Annapurna and Langtang regions at the start of his guiding career in the Everest region and restricted areas such as Nar Phu, Manaslu, Mustang, Dolpa, etc. Since 2008, some of the biggest trekking companies in Nepal have hired me as an Everest specialist. I have explored Mustang, Kanchenjunga, Langtang, and numerous other regions.
During guiding time, I did many teahouse treks, such as the Everest Base Camp trek, Annapurna Base Camp trek, Annapurna Circuit trek, Upper Mustang trek, Jomsom Muktinath trek, Mardi Himal trek, Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, Gokyo Valley trekking, Manaslu Tsum Valley trek, Makalu Base Camp trek, and Kanchenjunga Base Camp trek. At the busiest season, I have been to some of the remote treks, such as the Upper Dolpa trek, the Lower Dolpa trek, the Rara Lake trek, and the Humla Limi Valley trek.
Some of my favorite treks are Everest Base Camp combined with luxury options and yoga & meditation. I also enjoy completing the shorter and more scenic Chisapani-Nagarkot trek.
In 2014, I, Shanta Baniya, and my brother Nabin started our own company called Magic Himalaya Treks and Expeditions, which provides its service of trekking and mountaineering. This company provides services in Nepal, Bhutan, India, and Tibet based on client requests. He is one of the best trekking operators and trekking leaders in Nepal. Currently, I manage all activities in Nepal.

Hello:I am Nabin Baniya, one of the directors at Magic Himalaya Treks and Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. I was born in the mountain area Ganesh Himal, which is very famous and named after the god Ganesha. Fulkharka VDC of Dhading District and Bagmati Zone is the place where I was born on 11th November 1992. I grew up in Fulkharka, received my education until the 2nd class, and then moved to Kathmandu for further studies. Then I got a school leaving certificate from Kathmandu. Traveling and trekking with my brothers sparked my interest in the tourism field. So I started studying travel and tourism. Trekking helped me understand the subject, so I started working as a trek guide.
After a few years, I also started organizing treks that make me work, so I collaborate with my brother Shanta, who was in these fields 10 years before me and who has more experience and knowledge. Together we opened an agency called Magic Himalaya Treks and Expeditions and started organizing treks and adventure-related activities for adventure travelers to Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India.
Now I (Nabin Baniya) am working and operating Magic Himalaya treks. I am working not only as an owner but also as an organizer/operator/seller. By working as a seller, I discovered the types of services and packages that clients expect from an operator, which enables me to create packages that align with their needs and expectations, leading to more satisfied customers and increased business. After working such a long time, I was able to understand that the service and securities are the main things that we have to keep in mind while operating business to bring further business opportunities.

Magic Himalaya Treks: Ram Kumar Simkhada was born in the village of Dhangsing, which is located in the Fulkharka district and the Dhading district. Following a period of time spent working as a porter, he went on to get a position as an assistant guide and eventually began working as one on a full-time basis.
His high-quality services have made him very popular among customers. A specialist in the Annapurna and Langtang regions, he is also an expert in those regions. As a guide for our organization, he is a really hard-working individual.
Magic Himalaya treks: Ram Baniya was born in Dhading district, completed his studies, and started to work as a guide in the mountains. He had been to different trekking routes in Nepal and Tibet. Best guide Ram is an English-speaking guide who is well known for his ability to make clients happy.
He is a specialist in Annapurna trekking destinations and the Langtang region. He is also well trained by the government and is government-licensed to guide the people in Nepal. Magic Himalaya helps him to train from the keep.
He mostly stays in the village, works as a farmer to support his family, and travels to Kathmandu occasionally when his recommended clients come for treks and adventures.
Magic Himalaya Treks: Kishab Raj Adhikari was born in Dangsing village in Fulkharka VDC and Dhading district. He was a former soldier in the Nepalese army. After retiring from the military, he started his trekking-related career as a porter. Being strong and fit, he was excellent at pottering about, but with his intelligence and love for clients, he started to work as an assistant guide and lead the many trekking regions of Nepal, such as Langtang, Annapurna, and Everest.
After working for a few years as an assistant guide, he now works as a guide in Nepal.
