Jomsom Muktinath Trek is in the North of Pokhara. It is the classic lodge trek in the Mustang region. Uniquely it includes the deepest Gorge of the Kaligandaki River. Jomsom Muktinath Trek reached the maximum altitude of 3800 m. For this reason, It is complete by anybody with a moderate level of fitness. This Jomsom Muktinath trek cost is cheap. Itinerary
Today our representatives will pick you from Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel in Thamel. After relax and some rest you will be taking to our office near the hotel in Thamel where we will discuss our trip. In the evening we will take you to cultural dinner.
Our tour guide will pick you from the hotel and takes you to the few sightseeing places of Kathmandu valleys which are declared by UNESCO as the World Heritage site. The places like Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swyambhunath.
Fly to pokhara (823 m) and trek to Tikhadhunga (1552 m)
4-5 hrs Full Board Tea house
Today you will have an early flight to Pokhara. While sitting on a plane make sure that you are on the right side of the plane where you will have a mountain view. After reaching Pokhara you will be taken by private vehicles to Nayapul where you will start your hike. today 4 hours hike to Tikhadhunga.
Trek to Ghorepani (2750m)
6-7 hrs Full Board Tea house
From Tikhadhiunga the trek goes straight for some time the start upward climbing until Ghorepani passing the Ulleri village. The Ulleri hills with thousands of steps and boulders that go upwards test your stamina. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means “horse-water” Owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it becomes a trekker’s stop. We will have an Overnight stay in Ghorepani.
Ghorepani to Tatopani (1190 m)
5-6 hrs Full Board Tea house
In the morning before breakfast, we will visit the Poon hill tour for Mountain View and sunrise view. The view of poon hill is incredible. After returning back and having breakfast we will start our hike downwards to Tatopani passing different small villages. On reaching Tatopani in the evening we will visit the natural hot springs. We will stay overnight in Tatopani.
Tatopani to Ghasa (2110 m)
5-6 hrs Full Board Tea house
The trail now follows the Kaligandai river flows under the deep gorge by 2200 m in between two 8000 m mountains only 38km apart. passing different villages on the way we will reach the Thakali village called Ghase where we will spend
our night.
Ghas to Marpha (2680 m)
5-6 hrs Full Board Tea house
The steep climbs through the forest take you to Leta Khola then reach to Lete. Walking through the apple farms and passing some important villages you will reach the place called Marpha where you will spend your night. Marpha village is famous for apple and apple products.
Marpha to kagbeni (2810 m)
4-5 hrs Full Board Tea house
With the awesome view, we will start out trek crossing Jomsom and Eklai Bhatti to reach Kagbani which is also the important village on this trek. It is also the gateway for the trekkers to go upper mustang trekking.
Kagbeni to Muktinath (3710 m)
5-6 hrs Full Board Tea house
After walking for 5 hours passing Jharlkot you will reach the Muktinath villages. The last stop of the trek. You have an opportunity to visit the temples in the evening where you will see natural gas fire and some Hindu monuments. We will stay overnight in a hotel in Muktinath.
Muktinath to Jomsom (2715 m)
5-6 hrs Full Board Tea house
After visiting the temple in the morning also for the puja program you will have breakfast on returns. After the breakfast finished we will trek down to Jomsom. On the way back we will not visit the Kagbeni villages instead of that we will walk on other short cut roads that join the main road in Eklai Bhati. We will have Overnight stay in Jomsom and waits for next day flights.
After reaching Pokhara on a flight you will have plenty of time to relax and visits the surroundings. Stay will be in the Pokhara hotel.
Today you will be drive-through tourist bus. It will stop on the way for breakfast and lunch. It will take you Kathmandu on 7 hrs. We will stay overnight in the Thamel hotel. In the evening we will offer you a farewell dinner.
Today we will take you to the airport three hours before your flights. On the way back home you will have plenty of time thinking about you Jomsom Muktinath Trek and making a plan for your next trip to Nepal

First things is you need to have a latest PCR report to get visa and visa need to be do online before you come. You also need to have a Corona insurance that covers at least US$5,000. Trekking guide and porter also need to have corona insurance that covers at least US$1000. We need to know you flights tickets details so that we can inform immigration's about your arrivals. Passport copies and pictures also need for doing paperwork's, TIMs and permits which we need to make before you come and send back to you which you need to show on different place.
After you arrival in Kathmandu, we will Pick you and Transfer to hotel where you will stay 8 days Quarantine and again check PCR test. The Negative Results will let you to do trekking and hiking. If you got Positive test you will have to stay quarantine or hospital depends on your conditions.

The Jomsom Muktinath Trek distance is 3 to 5 hours in walk and 1:30 minutes of drive. The walking distance is 16.7 km.
Yes, you can have your customs. It’s not a pool. It’s small like a pond which can fit around 15 to 25 people. Swimming is not allowed. Sitting in hot water and relax is what we allowed to do in Tatopani Hot springs.
Yes, it’s possible to rent a bicycle as well as a motorcycle from Jomsom to Muktinath or Muktinath to Jomsom. It is all possible to rent a couple of days until Pokhara.
There might be some leaches on the forest area but its not that much worse. Guide will help you with some preparations for leaches. You can follow him and take advice.
No, we are not walking all the way on road. We will walk from Nayapul to Hile on road. In the same place, we will have short cuts. From Sikha to Tatopani some time on-road and sometimes not on road. From Tatopani, we walk most of the time on the road. There are also some shorts cut where we can escape the road. We can use that trail to have better hiking.
If there are no flights due to bad weather we will arrange jeep or other transportation to get Pokhara on the same day. You will be in Pokhara to spend night. If you have some plan after the flights then you need to cancel that program.
First of all, I will let you know that Nepal is a secular country now. In the past, it used to be a Hindu kingdom. Now all people are equal in terms of religion. The Muktinath temple is open for all visitors whether the visitors are christening or Muslim. We respect all religions and at least wanting some respect from anyone others while you are in Nepal. So, forget about these things about religions and culture while in Nepal.
