Itinerary

01

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, we will welcome you. We will transfer your hotel in Thamel. In the evening we will take you to Magic Himalaya Trek Office to brief you about your trek. We will have dinner together in the evening.

We will catch early morning scenic flight to Bhadrapur. As soon as we land in Bhadrapur we will take a jeep to Illam. Illam is famous for tea plants as well as Himalayan Chew made from cheese. We will stay the night in Illam.

Today our destination is Taplejung. We will drive on private transportation. We will have a beautiful countryside view. We will drive through Phidim to reach Taplejung and spend the night there.

Today is the trekking day. The routes pass through several villages. We will come across rice, paddies fields. We then follow the trail to reach Mitlung. We will stay a night in Mitlung.

Today we will trek through Limbu and Tamang communities. We will pass villages like Sinwa, Tawa as well as Pork. We need to cross a wooden bridge to reach Chiruwa village. Stay a night in Chiruwa.

Today we will climb 309 meters. We will trek through villages of Taplethok, Tamewa, Hellok as well as Lelep. Stay the night in Sukathum.

We will move with the Ghumsa Khola to go to Amjilosa. We will cross several bridges as well as steep uphill to reach the Tibetan village of Amjilosa. Stay a night in Amjilosa.

Today, We will walk through rhododendrons as well as bamboo forest before ascending Gyabla. Stay the night there.

Leaving behind the beautiful Gyabla village we trek towards Ghunsa. To reach Ghunsa village we need to climb a small hill and descend to cross the river. Stay overnight.

Today is the rest day of a trek. Instead of staying ideal we will hike to the opposite side of the Ghunsa Khola. We will also explore the village, monasteries, and learn traditions. Stay a night in Ghunsa.

Today trip begins with passing forest. We will also pass several Mani walls and Chorten. Today we will stay in Khangpachen. We can see a stunning view of Jannu North Face. Jannu is 7710 meters high.

We will follow the trail on the left side of Kanchenjunga glacier. We will hike plateau to reach the campsite of Lhonk. We can see Mera peak (6364 m), Wegde peak (6802 m), Nepal Peak (7177 m), Twins (7350 m) and many more. Stay a night in Lhonak.

Today we head towards Kanchenjunga base camp. We will follow the trail along the glacier on Northen ridges. This camp is also known as Pang Pema. We will see the mesmerizing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m). Stay overnight in Kanchenjunga base camp.

After having a wonderful experience in Kanchenjunga we re-track back the way to reach Ghunsa village. We will pass Lhonak as well as Khangpacheen. Stay the night in Ghunsa.

To reach the high camp we will trek along a steep rocky trail. The trail is through the forest area filled with birch, pine as well as colorful rhododendrons. We can see beautiful mountain Jannu, Nyukla-Laching mountain and many more. Stay a night in high camp.

Today is the challenging trek. We cross two passes on our way to Tseram. The highest pass is sele la (4480 m) and Sinon La (4660 m). While reaching the top of the pass we will see Yalung glacier, Jannu mountain, Makalu (8481 m), Kanchanjunga (8586 m) and Barun Tse (7129). We will descend to Tseram for a night stay.

While trek we will come across a lake and meadow where we can see blue sheep grazing on grassy hills. We will visit a small monastery in Ramche. Stay the night in Ramche.

Today we will explore the Yalung base camp area. We will cross Oktang where we can see a panoramic view of Jannu and Kanchanjunga. We can see many other mountains too. We will trek back to Ramche for a night stay.

Following the same trail, we will trek towards Anda Phedi. We can see the view of different mountain ranges and herds of blue sheep on the grassy slope. We will pass Lapsang and Tseram to reach Anda Phedi. Stay the night in Anda Phedi.

Today we will pass rhododendrons forests and bushes to reach Tortong village. We will pass waterfalls, Chortens, ponds, and streams to reach Tortong village. Stay the night in this place.

We continue to descend Amji Khola today. We will cross Lasiya Bhanjyang (3310 m) and Dhupi Bhanjyang (2620 m). We descend towards Yamphudim. It is a village inhabited by Sherpa, Rai, Limbu as well as Gurung people. Stay the night in Village.

Today we will leave behind the Yamphudim and descend towards Khebang passing through valleys, waterfalls as well as forest. Crossing the bridges we will reach Khebang to stay the night.

Leaving Khebang behind us will walk towards Khanidinge. We will have a stunning view of Kanchenjunga as well as Jannu. We will stay the night in Khanidingbe.

Today we will drive long to Birtamod. We will enjoy the view of green hills, snowed capped mountain, rivers as well as the daily life of locals. We will stay for a night in this village.

In the morning we will drive to Bhadrapur airport and catch a flight to Kathmandu airport. In the evening we will have dinner together.

Today is the last day in Nepal. On the way back home you will have plenty of time to think about your next adventure in Nepal.

The treks provide the chance to know more about this caste, cultures as well as traditions. They also have different varieties of food. You can ask them about your food but cannot eat because they don't sell. We need to do camping in this area. we will have a good cook from our office which will make food and serve you. The food will be Nepali Dal Bhat, Momos, French fries, Gurung bread, eggs, macaroni, pasta, Chowmein, and other few items. Camping trek don't have luxury menus like other tea house trek. Food on this camping trek is not best to like food on Everest base camp trek or any other trek in Nepal.
