We will stay a night in a place called Tyangboche village so we can visit it and see it all the time we wanted. These monasteries are established in 1961 and take 3 years to construct it. Tyangbochea Monastery is established by Chatang Chotor more often known as Lama Gulu. This has ties with the Rongbuk Monastery close to the base of Everest on the Tibetan northern side. A devastating fire that occurred in 1989 also damage the monastery before damaging from Earthquake. The Monastery has to lose its lamas as soon as the end of the earthquake. During that time the monastery was gutted and some of its treasures were lost. Now the New monastery is completed which they start making later and with lots of people's effort, it's standing on the Everest base camp yoga trek trail. The current Rinpoche, Ngawand Tenzin Jangpo was born in 1953 on the same day as the birth of Dalai Lama. Buddhist Gompa on Everest base camp Yoga trek
There are many monasteries and Gumba on an Everest trekking trail. Some are very much popular and some are not so popular. During our Everest base camp Yoga trek, we will visit some and some we don’t. Normally we visit the monasteries in Namche, Phakding, and Tengbochea Village. These are very popular among travelers too. Among them also the monastery in Tengboche has its own importance and popularity among trekkers and climbers. Climbers on Everest expeditions and other expeditions take blessing in this monastery for success. Nowadays, people doing treks and high passes also visit this monastery to take blessings. This monastery is also seen from the Everest top. This is the first thing Hillary & Tenzing recognize from the top when they get victory over Everest for the very first time. The monastery in Namche is also popular and people visit for the blessing from the lama. People all over Khambu gather Tengbochea for the Mani Ramdo festival in Tengbochea. This year they will celebrate the Mani Ramdo Festival on the 28th of October, 29th of October, and 30th of October. Note the date and visit this time to celebrate the festival with locals. This Buddhist festival is not only for Buddhist people because Nepal is a secular country. Each religion respects each other here.

We will be walking on glaciers so need to be careful in this area. On the way to base camp, there is also someplace where you miss the trail or need good monitoring for trekking safely. March, April & May is one of the best times to do The Everest base camp yoga trek as well as the basic one. Spring is the season when you can enjoy the view of Rhododendrons dominating the hills in its full glory. We can see lots of rhododendrons in the lower parts of the trek as well as in the Debuche area. This is the time best for doing base camp as well as enjoying the sunrise from the Kalapather. We will have blue and clear skies. We can do lots of yoga on green hills near Rhododendron forests and near the river. Trekkers can have a complete Himalayan Experience in a single go.
Everest base camp yoga trek in September, October & November
This period of September, October & November marks the arrival of the autumn season in Nepal. This is also the Best time of year for doing an Everest base camp trek with a combination of yoga and meditation. A lot of flower bloom that makes the landscapes more colorful than ever. During the monsoon season, we can expect a clean and green trail with a lush ecosystem. We will also have a clear view with no clouds in the sky. All the Teahouses and lodges will be open throughout the season. It gives the opportunity to enjoy the trek in its full glory. This time of year is the busiest time of year for hiking and trekking with yoga at Kalapather and base camp. Many people here had seen doing an Everest base camp Helicopter tour. We can see many Helicopters stop at Kalapather viewpoint.
Everest base camp yoga trek in December, January & November
The Extent of February from December marks the winter in the Himalayas. Apart from The extreme winter with Heavy snowfall, you can do the Everest base camp yoga trek. During this time of year, we need additional gear and equipment for the high-elevation trek with thick snow. The Experience is all different ranging from snowy hills, Valleys, and ridges in the trails. The trail is less visited this time than in the autumn and summer seasons. It is due to the trekking challenges at this time. Doing yoga on snow is difficult but you will love these new flavors of doing yoga and meditations. The Gorekshap ground and Loubecha will be the best place for doing yoga in the snow.
Everest base camp yoga trek in June, July & August
We have wet summer in June, July & August here in Nepal. Monsoon is not the best time for walking on the trail of the Himalayas. Still, people do this Everest base camp yoga trek during this time. We need to be prepared with a raincoat in the day bag because the rain can come at any time. We also need to have proper duffel bags to keep the luggage safe from rain. In the lower part of the trek, there are chances of getting leeches. If you don’t like trekking on this rain and leeches then this is not the time for you. We will also enjoy yoga with clouds and rain when the sky is not clear. Mostly in the morning, it is clear and we can see the stunning view of the mountains around.
Drinking water during Everest base camp Yoga trek
Drinking water is always considered a main thing in Human life. Humans need water to drink but all water found on earth is not drinkable. We need to find proper resources to drink. In the Everest base camp yoga trek, we need to be careful about drinking water. There are many safe drinking water bottles you can buy along the trail. They have a drinking water factory in Khambu where they make this bottled water. Those who prefer mineral bottled water buy here. The cost goes from 50 rupees to 400 rupees. The cost at Gorekshap goes maximum high cost. There are also possibilities of boiled water from the hotel which cost you around the same price as bottled water. I recommended people buy this hot water to keep you warm as well as it is safer than any water. Besides that, there is also tap water which is normal water for drinking. All local guides and porters drink this water and tourist also drinks this water. Some people drink it with water guard tablets where as some drink it without any purifying tablets. If you prefer this normal water then the Magic Himalaya treks guide will provide water drops. Our guide will also arrange water from the kitchen tap which normally the hotel owner uses for drinking and cooking purposes. You need to drink 3 to 4 liters of water while doing a trek. So we need to be prepared with 4 liters of water per day either buying or refilling from tap.
