Bardia National Park is rich in bio-diversity. It is a paradise for those visitors who love nature, enthusiastic about mountain climbing, the varieties of forests, wildlife, and birds. 23% of the total land of Nepal is covered by national parks, wildlife reserves, conservation areas as well as a hunting reserve. Bardia National Park is one of the largest wildlife reserves found. This park covers an area of 968 km. Bardia national park is in the far southwest corner of open Nepal. It is Bound by middle hills in the north of Karnali River to the west as well as south. From 1976-1988 Bardia reserve has been expanding from 368sq.km-968sq.km.
