Everest base camp trek Nepal is the most amazing trip to Nepal with Magic Himalaya Treks and expeditions. We started our journey with a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley. we visit Durbar square and monkey temple with tour guides from magic Himalaya. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and tells us about the history of places. The next day with a guide we drive to Kathmandu airport because we have first flights to Lukla. After a bit of waiting for bad weather finally, we fly to Lukla which is a scenic flight. we saw Langtang Himalayan range and Everest. Navin was our guide and he shows us, Everest from the plane too. we meet our porter Leela at the airport, he was there to pick us.
After that, we went to the hotel to have tea and start our journey towards the Everest base camp. following the trekking trail, we pass many villages and viewpoints to reach the base camp and Kalapather. Our guide, Nabin Baniya made it one of the most enjoyable treks we have ever done. From the moment we set foot in Kathmandu he was there to show us the city and help us prepare for the trip at hand. The trek itself was fantastic, tough at times but worth every minute of it. The views were amazing and Nabin was very knowledgeable regarding the surrounding landscapes, mountains, and villages. The lodges were great fun too. Nabin always ensured we were in good spirits. He looked after us and taught us great card games to pass the time.
we will turn back the same way to Kathmandu. We are lucky that it was the Holi festival in Nepal. So, we experience this color festival in Thamel. Everyone is putting color on each other so we did it too. I would recommend this company to our friends and family back home. Everest base camp trek is truly the trip of a lifetime.
