The arrangements from the beginning was wonderful, our guide Ram from magic Himalaya is waiting us at Kathmandu airport with my name on company name plate. He welcomed us with garland and bottle of water. We have a wonderful private vehicles which take us to the wonderful hotel at Thamel know as Hotel Thamel Park. We meet the boss Nabin @ receptions and he welcome us and later in the evening brief us about the Everest base camp trek and details. During his briefing he also told me about Everest base camp luxury trek and Everest base camp. Yoga trek. The Everest base camp luxury trek has attached bathroom and electric blankets on some of the tea house which attracts so I sifted from Normal Everest base camp trek to Everest base camp Luxury trek Options. The whole way we had a best accommodations on trip. Hotel Namche at Namche and the Himalayan eco resort is Best among best for me. The dining at Himalayan hotel in Ferichea and Lukla Namaste is best with clean and attractive tables and chairs. The food at Gorekshap is not at best level but I can understand its mountain and Gorekshap has water problems where we cannot aspect more hygienic. I Really enjoyed the hike with magic Himalaya team and ram.
The most difficult was the Thukla pass. At one point I was asking my self why I am walking when there is Everest base camp helicopter tour. When I make base camp I forget all the pain. The base camp was too much for me so I decide not to climb kalapather and trek down to Feriche then Namche and lukal. In Kathmandu we had a dinner with Nabin and Shanta. Shanta was Nabin’s brother and Business partner in Magic Himalaya company. We had a couple of beer and celebrate the success to the great Everest base camp trek.
