I had a great time with my friends the tour guide, and porters for our tailor-made island peak trekking in May 2023.
when we landed at Kathmandu airport, our tour guide, Nabin, was waiting for us and greeted us in the Nepalese welcome way with flowers which made our mood fresh after a long journey. The whole trekking trip was well managed, even the airplane from Kathmandu to Lukla was suspended due to government policy changes. People had to wake up early and drive 5 hours to Ramachhap for a flight to Lukla but Nabin and his team arranged the helicopter flight for us to Lukla immediately on the next day which was a great effort & help from the company management.
Nabin arranged the accommodations for us for the whole trip and everything was taken care of. I learned the mountain hospitality from the locals and I was glad that the whole team in the island peak base camp took care of me when I was unwell. Although I didn’t climb to the summit due to sickness. I still felt the whole experience was amazing and unforgettable. Nabin and his team are so professional.
They are so trustworthy that I don’t have to worry about anything on the trip. When we back to Kathmandu, we celebrated the successful completion of one of our teammates. Nabin welcomed us to stay in his place with his family for dinner. I really enjoy it. ☺️ Thank you. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to trek in Nepal in the future to Everest base camp and island peak. Would love to return to Nabin for some adventure soon and will definitely choose magic Himalaya treks among thousands of service providers in Nepal.
