Everest base camp trek Journey

12 Days Everest base camp treks are one of the short options for doing the base camp. 12 days Everest base camp trek start on arriving in Kathmandu and ends at final departure in Kathmandu airport. Short 12 days Everest trekking passes through Lukla, Namchebazar as well as Tengboche Monastery.  Lukla is the starting point whereas Namchebazar is the famous Sherpa capital. All the villages and guesthouses after Namche do shopping in Namche bazaar. The local market is also the attractions of this village along with the mountain view. Likewise, Tengboche is another important attraction of this 12 days Everest base camp trek. All the trekkers and expeditions go monastery for a successful trek as well as blessings.

Passing Dingbochea village the trek route reached the famous Thukla pass. This is the place where we can see lots of memorials of the people who died on Everest expeditions. We can see the memorial of Scout Fisher as well as other famous Sherpas. Following the trek routes, we can see the Italian pyramid house which is a research center. Now, it is also available for accommodations as well as food for trekkers. Passing Gorekshap we will able to see the memorial of Indian climbers as well as rob hall. Rob hall memorial is above the trail on a hill. The Journey takes to the base camp situated at 5364 meters. Stepping on the base of Mount Everest is a lifetime opportunity. Along with the base camp, Kalapather is another important place during this trek. The view from Kalapather is 360 degrees. We can see Everest close and bigger in size.

Day 01: Received In Kathmandu Airport (1400 meters) on arrival
Day 02: Fly Lukla Airport and Trek to Phakding Village.
Day 03: Trekking to Sherpa Village Namche.
Day 04: Trekking to Tengbochea Village.
Day 05: Trek to Dingbochea.
Day 06: Dingbochea to Laubecha
Day 07: Trek to Gorekshap Then to Everest base camp (5364 m) and trek back.
Day 08: Hike Kalapather view point and trek down to Ferichea village.
Day 09: Trek down to Namchebazar.
Day 10: Trek down to Lukla village.
Day 11: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Final departure.

Itinerary

01

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we will pick you and transfer to the hotel. The Hotel is in Thamel which is known as tourist markets. In the evening, visit the Magic Himalaya Treks office. We will introduce a guide and do a briefing about the trip. We will have welcome dinner together.

The guide will pick you from the hotel and drive to Tribhuvan international airport domestic terminal. The flight takes you to Lukla village situated at 2860 meters. Having breakfast in Lukla we will start our journey to Phakding Village which is on an elevation of 2610 meters.

Today is the nice and long walk to Namche bazar. We will pass Benker as well as Monjo villages. Monjo is the starting checkpoint of the Sagarmatha Conservation Area. We will have our lunch in Jorsella villages. We will pass Hillary suspension bridges and the first view of Everest before reaching Namche. Note: The First view is available only during a clear sky.

The walk from Namche to Tengboche is very beautiful. We can see all the way of seeing Everest and many other mountains. We will have lunch in Phunke Tenga (3259 m). Passing rhododendrons, we will reach the guest house in Tengboche. Later in the evening, we will visit the monastery to have blessings.

The walk today is nice and short. We will see Amadablam as well as Everest for a long time. As soon as we pass Orsho we won’t able to see Everest. We will see other beautiful mountains including the Island peak. Dingboche is the last settlement village.

With a wonderful view of the mountain, we will walk towards Loubecha. We will have our lunch in Thukla. On the way to Laubecha, we can see the memorial on Thukla pass. While in Laubecha you can see Khumbu glacier as well as has the chance to visit Italian Pyramid House.

Today is the main day of trekking. We will start our journey early. We will reach Gorekshap in three hours walk. We will have some quick lunch. Keeping luggage in the room we start to base camp.walking 2 hours we reach base camp then come back to Gorekshep for staying.

Today we will get up early and hike Kalapather viewpoint for sunrise as well as Mountain View. Come down have breakfast then walk all the way to Pheriche.

We will walk some way back passing Tengboche as well as Pangbochea villages. We will have plenty of time to enjoy Namche bazaar.

Today also a long way to Lukla we will pass the entire village that we pass on a way up. Probably have lunch in Phakding village. We will spend a night in Lukla and wait for a flight the next day.

Today early breakfast and wait in Lukla airports for flights. On reaching Kathmandu we will have time to walk around Thamel. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Today is the last day in Nepal. You will have plenty of time to remember the memory of trek and think about your next adventure!
