Trip Highlights

  • Stunning view of Langtang Himalayan Ranges

The Helambu Trek is the short and perfect trek in Nepal. It is a trek very close to the Kathmandu Valley. Despite being close to Kathmandu it remains fresh and unspoiled. It is one of the most diverse treks near Kathmandu Valley due to the unique Hyalmo culture of high mountain people, the company of green forest, and Rhododendrons. Not only this the treks offer majesty Himalaya ranges and waterfalls.

The people in this area are Sherpa people. This trek also helps people to experience Sherpa cultures and traditions. In some villages, people look like Tibetan people but they are Nepalese people. The trek has a flavor of Tibetan community due to monasteries, Chorten, mani wall, and lots of Tibetan flags.

The trek begins with the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu valley driving the Sundarijal villages which is silence and examples of greenery forests with clean and continuously flowing water resources. The hike has awesome village views and stunning Langtang Himalayan ranges from Chisapani villages. The trek starts from Shivapuri National Park. The treks have beautiful villages of Kutumsang, Thadapati, Sermathang, and Melamchigaon. During this trek, we will reach some high points as well as some low elevations. We will trek through rice fields and the terrace.

The inspiring simplicity of the rural lifestyle is the highlight of this trek. We can also experience this Helambu trekking through longer days of trekking through Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek.
