Accommodation and food for Ama Yangri Trek
For the accommodation, you will have a simple tea house or trekking lodges in Tarkeghyang and Ama Yangri base camp. Rooms are simple, with blankets and a basic bathroom. The accommodations in Kathmandu will be in the 3-star category with breakfast included. If anyone wants to stay in better accommodations, then let us know; we will do accordingly. For food in Kathmandu, you can select any restaurant near your hotel, but the breakfast will be provided at the hotel, which is a buffet breakfast. In terms of food on the trek, it will be basic from the community menu. The food are Dalbhat, Noodles, pizza, fried rice, chapatti, Tibetan bread, fried potato, french fries, boiled potato, momos, etc. the hot drinks will be tea coffee, ginger tea, mint tea, milk tea, etc. You can also get beers, coke, and hard drinks.

Welcome to Nepal: If there is good weather condition then the world’s highest peak Mount Everest and other peaks will welcome you but landing is a bit different than other airport. Plane will be land in the middle of the city.
Meet and Greet: You will be warmly welcomed by our representatives in the international terminal after passing through immigration and other formalities.
Transfer to the hotel: You will be driven to the hotel on a private vehicle along with our representatives.

Evening: There will be short briefing about our next day trip and itinerary. If you want some minor changes then we will consider and can do some changes.

Today, we will be visiting several popular cultural sites in the Kathmandu city recognised as UNISCO, as world Heritage Sites.
Morning: Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing
Swyambhunath Stupa: An ancient religious complex and Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu also known as the Monkey Temple.
Bashantapur Durbar Square: A historical Royal square in the central Kathmandu, showcasing medieval palaces, temples and courtyards with rich and unique Newari architecture reflecting cultural heritage of Malla and Shah dynasties.
Afternoon
Boudhanath: It is one of world’s largest Buddhist stupa located in Kathmandu, symbolizing peace, enlightenment and Nepal’s rich spiritual heritage sites.
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinah temple, is a sacred Hindu temple on the Bagmati River in Kathmandu. It is renowned for its old architecture, religious significance and traditional Hindu cremation ceremonies.
Evening: back to hotel test and relax.

After having morning Breakfast, We starts driving from Kathmandu through Malachi to traditional village of Tarkeghyang. Enjoying the scenic landscape, beautiful green forest, and terrace field and mountain village along the way. During the journey you can explore an ancient monasteries, prayer flags and experience the warm hospitality of local community.
Mid- day lunch at Melamchi
We stop at Melamchi for a lunch to recharge for the rest of the journey, and you will have some time to rest and relax after having lunch.
After lunch, we are driven to the traditional village, Tarkeghyang. It takes approximately 3 hours from the Melamchi. Tarkeghyang is a beautiful village and rest point before the adventure begin.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at Tarkeghyang.

After spending beautiful time, taking photographs, we descend to Tarkeghyang for overnight stay.

We stop at Melamchi for a mid- day lunch and you will have some time to rest and relax after having lunch. Enjoying the scenic landscape, beautiful green forest, and terrace field and mountain village along the way.

Essential Information
Best Time to visit Ama Yangri
The best time to visit Ama Yangri Trek is spring (March- May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is clear and the mountain views are excellent to see. Especially, these two season offers comfortable temperature and outstanding trekking experiences among the travelers.
The monsoon season (June- August) is not recommended due to rain and slippery trails and in winter (December to February) is very cold with possible snow fall and it is more challenging to this trek but it can also possible with experienced trekkers.

Answer: The conditions of shower and toilets in very basic in the trek. We stay the night on Tarkeghyang which is on an elevation of 2600 meters from sea level. The shower is the bucket shower or gas shower which they charge around 500 Nepali rupees to 1000 Nepali rupees. The toilet is basis and need to keep hot water time to time not to frozen.
Answer: There is electricity on Tarkeghyang where we stay two night on trek but often cut off due to bad weather or some other reasons. We can get charging facilities there but its better to have backup.
