By Bus (local bus and tourist Bus)

We have two Bus services to reach pokhara the first one is Tourist Bus and the Second one is local Bus.

Tourist Bus

The tourist bus is an alternative for extremely cheap and relaxing travel to Pokhara. They leave Kathmandu from Sorakhutee, opposite of prime bank at 7 am every day. It is comparatively more comfortable and somewhat faster and safer. Cost varies for A/C and non-A/C bus. In Pokhara, some buses pick up passengers in Lakeside and Damside.

Local bus or Micro Hiace

It is the main form of transportation. They are reasonably cheap than flying or by tourist bus. Local buses leave from Kathmandu for Pokhara from New Bus station located in the Ring road at Gangabu near Balaju going to the Annapurna Trekking or Annapurna Circuit Trek. There are direct bus services for Dumre and Besisahar from Kathmandu. Likewise, buses for the Dumre and Besisahar leave from Prithivi chowk bus park Pokhara.

For the service to various Annapurna Trekking region trails such as Ghandruk, Ghorepani, Beni, ABC trek, bus tickets can get from Banglung bus park. it is also possible to hire a local taxi from Banglung bus park or from the lakeside. Annapurna base camp trek, Khopra danda trek, Mardi Himal trek, Ghorepani poon hill trek are few famous treks found in this region. For Going Upper mustang trek we should go through this region.

By Private transportation.

This is the best and comfortable way of reaching Pokhara. It is cheaper than flying and basic luxury seat that make travel comfortable. it is a bit expensive than tourist bus but if bigger groups then its almost same. While travelling on private tourist vehicles we can stop whenever we like and where ever we like.

The starts & end at Kathmandu and Pokhara has a good room with Ac which is good facilities from company. Brings warm and good clothes for the trek which is important to stay warmer. you can stay war while walking in Kathmandu and Pokhara sightseeing around. In the beginning the tea houses in Ghorepani, Tadapani and Chhorong have heater called chimney at dining places. This chimney uses wood to make fire and warmer at dining. We can see same chimney in Everest region but most make fire from cow and yak dung. The higher part of the area do not have wood for fire and is not allowed to make wood fire. Instead of wood they use kerosene for cooking. The tea house have stove for heating up for people at dining table or under dining table to keep them warm. The heater here cost charges per person or from group. Heaters Facilities on Annapurna base camp Trek is one of the Good facilities from tea house to all trekkers. Annapurna base camp trekkers responsibility on Environment

As we know that Annapurna area is visited by many people. This regions are gift from nature to whole nations and has full of everything's. To maintain them and keep them safe, we need to make balance between environment and human Beings. Our responsibility on environment should be known by everyone. Magic Himalaya Trekking Company in Nepal strongly believes that the environment needs to be protecting well. Tourism and trekking activities brings many negative effects on our environment so we need to work to make positive aspects of tourism on environment. Drinking water in Annapurna base camp Trek

Water is the second most important things to live after the air. You can see water everywhere because 71% of earth surface is covered with water. Among them 96.5 percent of water is hold by ocean. All water is not possible to drink so we need to be careful while drinking water. We need to take good care of Drinking water during Annapurna visits. We recommended to drink bottle mineral water in Kathmandu and Pokhara because we have water problems in city. While in the mountain you can drink tap water using the water drops or water tablets. we can also buy the water in the beginning parts of the trail where as most of the town have safe drinking water station which cost you to buy water. the charge is cheaper in comparison to mineral water.
